I assisted the USQ Product Marketing team with the design of the 2020 Publication Suite, which was a significant opportunity for me to demonstrate my design skills. Alongside this project, I was also tasked with leading the development of a proposal for the Recruitment Domain within the Brand Domains project. This proposal established a consistent visual communication style for student recruitment materials, such as Open Day and Campaigns.
My responsibilities included researching the recruitment space, creating design options, and presenting them to senior management. My goal for the Publication Suite was to ensure consistency between the print and digital versions, as well as reducing printing costs. I helped establish guidelines for design elements such as page margins, font styling, photography direction, and overall section ordering. I also assisted with proofreading the final product and provided advice on layouts and photo processing to ensure the best results on the chosen paper stock. I am proud of the final product and believe it set a strong direction for future USQ publications.
