In September 2019, I had the opportunity to assist with the launch of The Pick and Roll online store featuring a range of t-shirts and hoodies. I designed all of the original concepts, which were inspired by iconic Aussie basketball quotes, as well as two unique wordmark options for The Pick and Roll team.
Creating artwork specifically for merchandise was a unique opportunity to provide solutions for the production process. This involved developing designs that would be suitable for a wide range of merchandise colors, as well as ensuring that all fonts and icons were licensed for commercial use.
This project allowed the team to expand the main brand and implement it in ways that will be beneficial for future projects. Additionally, it provided an additional revenue stream to support the volunteer-based site. I am extremely satisfied with the final designs and am proud to wear my Pick and Roll shirt whenever I can!
