As part of the 2022 FIBA Women's World Cup, I had the opportunity to work with The Pick and Roll team to establish the visual brand direction, create real-time graphics for social media channels, and deliver original ideas to enhance fan engagement during the tournament.
One of the key highlights of this project was my collaboration with professional photographers who were on-site during the games. Prior to the tournament, I worked with them to establish a workflow that would enable us to access their high-quality images during game breaks, allowing me to create graphics that could be shared as soon as the final buzzer sounded. This approach helped set the content apart from other channels and allowed us to showcase the photographers' work as a key feature of the design.
During the tournament, The Pick and Roll's social media channels generated 2.1 million impressions and 142,491 engagements across 583 posts.
Please note that all player imagery remains the property of the original owners and was used with permission for The Pick and Roll's social media post promotions.
